This place is a rare gem! We stayed for only 3 nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer! Naoko is the warmest and most accommodating host! We loved her home, it was super comfortable and her food is amazing! Breakfast is included, both Japanese and Western breakfasts were delicious, and her dinners too! Every dish was a delight! Naoko really went above and beyond for us, and even made us bento box lunches to take with us. Our 6 year old son, had the best time! He became bestfriends with Naoko’s dog, Taro. They went for walks, played, fished for tadpoles and frogs together. We also became very acquainted with her chickens and rooster. This place is perfect for kids to run free and have fun! To get there, it’s best to rent a car. Kochi is so beautiful and worth a visit. For us, 3 nights wasn’t enough. We hope to have the chance to see Naoko, Taro and the chickens again!

Our host, Nook, was exceptional in every way, from our welcome drinks to arranging SUP on the River and writing down many suggestions for the area. Her cooking was beyond delicious, including lots of organic produce. There were so many sitting areas in both our living quarters and outside. The house was brand new and worked well.
