Just twenty minutes of walking from the old town and you are transported to this place (I got the room with the garden view) that makes you feel like you are in some mountain village. It's very quiet and clean. Even though the lady that didn't speak English (or Serbian) and I didn't speak Italian, she was super friendly and we both made an effort to understand each other. There is no noise after 22:00 rule and (unlike in some other places) it is actually respected here which I really liked as I like to go to bed early.

I stayed for a week with my family and three children. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the lodging. The combined living/dining/kitchen area was spacious and had up to date decorations that echoed the beachy vibe. We had plenty of space for five people and all fit at the kitchen table. It was a bit chilly outside but the excellent heating system kept the apartment warm. There was a lovely outdoor space and table that would be perfect for a visit in a warmer season. The beach is close by, and my children enjoyed playing in the sand. We hope to return to Mondello and would love to stay here again.

The property itself is beautiful and charming and yet it has an elevator and, at least my room was facing the lovely garden of the property, full of fruit trees and herbs. My room was luminous and silent. I had a big bed and a lot of space to re-pack my suicases. The property is super close to Piazzale Donatello, a very strategic place, Central yet outside of the chaotic streets.

The owners were impossibly nice and they provided everything needed.

Beautiful old home, recently and excellently renovated. 10 minutes from "old town" with restaurant and cafes within a couple of blocks. Very nice family. Being stone, very quiet.
