Had such a pleasant stay at Ban Vivanh. It was very comfortable and the property is beautiful. Vivanh is a lovely host and very accommodating. In the past, there was a footbridge to walk from near the property to the city center. Although the bridge is currently undergoing repairs, it is still super easy to get to the center either by boat (costs only 10,000 kip), tuk tuk, or a leisurely walk across the bridge (maybe 25 minutes tops). Actually, the seclusion of the property away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy city center was probably my favorite part. Highly recommend!
We were incredibly happy at this little green oasis outside of the city. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The host is amassing and we came back here for some extra nights!
Quaint room with a super comfortable bed and rustic charm. Despite their limited English (fluent in French though) the owner and staff were touching, sweet, kind and helpful. The set, cooked for each individual, breakfast was stellar.
The wonderful hospitality of Vivanh, the hostess, and everyone (and the cats) here made my stay so pleasant! A couple of very nice restaurants around. The place itself is charming: in colonial style and by the river, the room is cool, airy and have terrace looking over the backyard. the night is so quiet that you hear insects chirping. The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.
Quiet not touristic as property is across the river where most the attractions are but easily accessible by bicycle/motorcycle by a bridge nearby.
