The hostel has good activities, the vibe is excellent, and they daily free transportation to the night market. I enjoyed everyday
Mad respect for this MM. Have stayed in a couple of MM, this is by far the best so far, great air-conditioning, great bed and lastly, great comfortable space, doesn't feel too cramped up even in a 16 bed bedroom. The location is a little bit away from the center but I believe they have a free shuttle to cover that.
Location is great only 10 min by bikes from the center, they offer bikes for free. They also offer a lot of activities. Room is clean, pool is nice, staff is helpful and they organise nice social events.
Honestly my favourite Mad Monkey stay so far. Had all the classic Monkey amenities - pool, restaurant, Bar, reception with booking services and TukTuks out front waiting to give you a ride into town. Maybe it's because it's a bit smaller or off the main strip of town but everything is just a bit nicer at this one. The bunks are spacious and have great storage, the hot water is there right away, the wifi works and you don't have to hike up stairs to get to your room. There is still plenty of social energy in the evening and the ride to bowling leaves at midnight!
The property is clean and well managed, the beds were comfortable. I really pay attention to all the details that matter in hostels and I loved that there was enough space for our things in the room, the partition for privacy, the amount of daylight in the rooms. It was quiet.
