The hotel was recently refurbished and the rooms were therefore filled with new furniture and decor. I stayed here 3 years ago and felt it was very dated but this time round, I was very impressed with how fresh and new the rooms were. It came with a huge TV but the best part was the bed and pillows, which were extremely comfortable. I slept execellently.

The room was very comfortable with ample cupboard and drawer space. My room, on the 11th floor, had a view of the river, albeit viewed between other buildings. The hotel is ideally located to access Chinatown, the riverfront and with a bit more effort the Borneo Cultural Museum and Fort Margherita.

The room was huge! Our bed was so comfortable and came with both hard and soft pillows. We had a great view of the river. The buffet breakfast each morning was enormous and there were plenty of options. The addition of soy or other non-dairy milks would make this even better.
