Beautiful historic property, in a wonderful location. The owners were lovely and very welcoming, they were very helpful with anything that we asked of them. The continental breakfast was lovely and everything was very well presented. Our suite was lovely and clean and comfortable. They do a very good job of maintaining such an old building! The gardens were beautiful, so many birds and butterflies, idyllic. Great that there was parking at the property too and such a fantastic location for walking into Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay or Sandsend. When we visit the area again we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great weekend with two nights in this wonderful place . Great food , super clean , lovely hosts . Everything you need for a break away. Good location for Whitby and the surrounding area. Highly recommend.

great place with nice staff who looked after well , nioce little pub just a few ims down hill as no bar at hotel but wasnt a problem great breakfast with lots of choice for everyone . would most certainly stay again
