Excellent chef. Best hotel food we’ve had in recent memory. Great location. Exterior of the hotel is deceiving. Quite beautiful and renovated inside
The location was perfect- just on the edge of Grasmere town.
The building was in great condition- much more modern than the other hotels in the town.

Very nice modern hotel. Comfortable room and excellent food quality. Perhaps choices were a little limited, having dined in several hotels in the area, it compares well to all the others. Excellent quality ingredients especially the breakfasts. The views from the grounds of the lake were superb. Very well maintained garden. Friendly and helpful staff.
