Such a cost setting, only 5 minute drive from Keswick and derwent water. Food was excellent in the restaurant/bar and so dog friendly.
The bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot and good pressure. Hotel throughout was beautifully clean.
Great price, excellent location with views across to Skiddaw and Blencathra. Hotel ideally located for Coledale horseshoe, Whinlatter pass etc..Room exceptionally clean and bed faultless. Breakfast was and always is excellent. Lots of fruit, toast and and ( important for me ) Vegan options. In fact the restaurant has a specifically Vegan menu to augment the standard offer. So ...we had a great break....all good.
This hotel is exceptional. Comfort, service, food and decor all fantastic, and dog friendly to boot. Second time we have been and we will absolutely be visiting again.
