The property is magical. A large house built into the side of a hill, 12 rooms, expansive lawn, winding path to a private pool. It felt like we wandered onto an old family estate and we got it to ourselves. Very relaxing.
The atmosphere is as good as expected, very quiet and refreshing, especially in the morning.
Lovely original chateau, to stay and experience the lifestyle of the Chateaux sur loire.
The property is being worked, adding new suites carved out of the rock.
Unique setting and site plan.
Wonderful chateau. Clean rooms, easy check in and friendly staff. Assisted us with dinner plans and explained walking paths near the hotel. Our room was beautiful with an outstanding view. The hotel was preparing more rooms located within the quarry and we got to see them. We had a great stay!
Everything about this chateaux was charming and comfortable. The host Oliveira was friendly and very helpful in recommending attractions to visit in the area including making dinner reservations to 2 very good restaurants in Amboise.
