Make sure you also take the time to relax in the heated, outdoor swimming pool or on the sun terrace. The spacious rooms with antique furniture are a haven of tranquility and provide a great feeling of relaxation in a warm atmosphere. Both rooms are equipped with high-standard bathrooms (jet showers, bathtubs, etc.) A wellness area with hot tub and sauna available at the property. Free WiFi is provided throughout. This is a charming and very well run hotel. Amboise is a great town for access to Loire Valley sites. Aurelia and Richard were very personable and helpful. Aurelia gave great recommendations for dining too. The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. We loved our stay here.

This is a lovely hotel right in the middle of town, making daily strolls and access to food and shopping very easy. The staff is super helpful. I loved our room on the top floor with a view of Chateau Amboise! The large bathroom and huge tub was an added bonus after a long day of walking. We enjoyed the local brewery, Les Arpents for an outstanding meal, but our favorite part was simply walking around the town and returning to our comfortable, cozy room.
We had a wonderful stay during our visit. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the town center. The facilities were great including the comfort of the room, bed and bathroom and it’s extremely quiet. Warm towels, coffee in the room, tub and shower, great bed and linens. The grounds are lovely, with lots of room to sit and relax, including the pool! The couple that owns and runs the hotel along with staff were helpful, engaging and just lovely. If I ever have the opportunity to return to the region, this will always be my hotel of choice.
I enjoyed an ample breakfast. We had a room facing the street and we did not notice the street activity. There were several excellent restaurants within a short walking distance. We were there for three nights and once we parked the car, we did not use it until we left Amboise. Everything in town is in easy walking distance--even for us older folks. The elevator was appreciated.
