Heritage villa polonnaruwa, Полоннарува, Шри-Ланка

Nice single room with two beds in a house a few hundred yards away from the main street. It was in a quiet residential area that was bordered by paddy fields. It was easy to get to the main UNESCO site (the reason we went to Polunnaruwa). Greatly enjoyed the rest of the town during our stay.

We stayed for one night at the lovely heritage villa in Polonnaruwa. Although it's only a couple of minutes away from the busy streets with restaurants, supermarkets and bus stops, it's located in a very quiet neighbourhood. You've got the rice paddies right behind the terrace - if you're lucky you can see peacocks, chipmunks, parakeet and other birds. The owners are very accommodating and did their best to make us feel right at home! The AC was a real life saviour in the summer heat. Big thanks again to the mom for the amazing Sri Lankan breakfast (savory & sweet - so good!!!) as well as the brothers for being so dependable. See you next time!
