We loved staying at this property. The Host was very quick to respond to our requests and was very helpful. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED the onsen experience within the house. The little room with Tatami mat was a perfect setting to enjoy our afternoon tea with local sweets. We had no issues commuting as the buidling is very close to the local bus stop and the bus takes you to the Hakone station which is the main town, you can walk to it as well but having a public transport access was a plus.

The apartment was spacious, with many amenities including a washer and a dryer. It was located near the K line bus stop. There is an onsen within a 15 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment was clean and the surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. This is also one of the more affordable options for a stay in the Hakone-Yumoto area.

This property was spacious and comfortable. The private natural hot spring bath (onsen) was wonderful. The kitchen was very nice and the washer and dryer worked perfectly. The host was very easy to reach and written directions to use all the appliances was clear . The bus stop was very close by and easy to get into town. We were able to take side trips easily from this location.

We very much enjoyed the location and how spacious the apartment was. The tub with hot spring water was spectacular and very relaxing. We had some trouble with the wifi working but not really a problem. The bed was so comfortable absolutely the best sleep I have had in awhile.

I liked the feel of the the apartment - it felt very homely and welcoming. The lounge was spacious and kitchen suited our needs. It was good to be a ten minute walk to the Tenzan onsen

Also, it was nice to use the futons on the tatami mats.
