It was peaceful surrounded by great landscape. Love the natural onsen and it was so clean and so well maintened. Love all the amenities provided. Staff is so nice and helpful. Rooms are nice and comfortable.

Dinner and Breakfast was really great! It is in buffet style, and there are a lot of delicious options to choose from! The staff is super friendly, and the room is spacious and clean!

This was my first time visiting Japan and have heard people recommend a ryokan+onsen experience, especially in Hakone. I'm so glad I did it here! I came with my mom and brother and we stayed in a Japanese style room and opted for the public onsen, which we used at night after dinner. There were probably only 5-6 women in there at the time, not crowded or busy. I wasn't expecting much, but the dinner and breakfast buffet were a pleasant experience, especially since we didn't feel like going out of our way to find a good food place in Hakone. It's an absolutely beautiful hotel as well and the people helping us at the front desk offer great service and spoke English well, which made our experience so easy. As a budget traveler, I was a little nervous to spend $350 for a night here, but it was worth the money and experience. (And of course, everything was clean, functional, etc. Just assume the bare minimums are easily covered).
