This family-run hotel in the Riddagshausen Nature Reserve offers rooms with flat-screen TVs and free parking. The center of Braunschweig and the A39 motorway are a 5-minute drive away. All rooms at the 4-star Das Seela Braunschweig include mini-bars and some also have bathrobes. Most rooms offer free WiFi, and some rooms feature a balcony. Regional and international food is served in the Helmut´s restaurant. In the summer, guests can eat on Seela’s summer terrace overlooking Riddagshausen Abbey and Riddagshausen’s 3 large ponds.

The place is very nice and quiet. The hotel isn't big, but it has six electric car chargers!
The staff is amicable, chatty, and cheerful. It looked like there was enough staff, which is rare in so many hotels.
Everything was just as it should be.
Perfect location if you plan to stay close with the nature, only a few minutes walk to the lake. The room is very cozy feels like granny house. Very big room with a bathroom and a toilet. Pet friendly and my dog loves the snacks from the hotel. Also parking is easy and cheap.
Breakfast was great and the staff was very polite.
The staff was so warm and welcoming; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was outstanding; and the location was nice and quiet, and in easy walking distance of a park where our dog could get exercise.
Herrn Trumpp greated us in English much to our surprise. He grew up near an American base, and as a child spent some time with the local soldiers there. The property is very well run, and the room we had with the balcony was perfect for us.
