Owner was nice, room was tidy and clean and we were allowed to go on the roof.

Wonderful hotel/PG (paid guesthouse)! My wife and I had a wonderful time staying 3 weeks here - lovely accommodation, good price, walking distance from Sarnath's Dhamekh Stupa and 30 min Auto Rickshaw ride to Varanasi/Kashi. The host family is delightful and kind, and also cooks tasty nutritious food, for a good price. If you need additional services (e.g. clothes washing), please ask the hosts, it is affordable and high quality. Thank you so much Srishti Shelter!

This was slightly out of the way and didn't help that the roads were being repaired. We had a nice room and we had a late train and the owner kindly let us stay in room will after checkout time which was much appreciated. Has nice non spicy breakfast and dinner which was excellent value.

Just feels like home. The owner is very helpfull and his behaviour is too good. Overall awesome experience.Food is also delicious.

We loved the stay there. The family is really helpful and friendly. They helped us with everything we required starting from arranging the auto to providing breakfast. The location is at a bit distant from the main city. If you are visiting Varanasi city then this place is at a bit distant. But if you are planning to cover Sarnath then this place is absolutely recommended. The auto services and food deliveries are always available. You can order breakfast, lunch and dinner from the homestay itself. The food was really satisfying and tasty. It was home cooked and we absolutely loved it. Do try to negotiate well with the auto drivers, due to location being a bit distant from the main city they might charge you more and even try to scam you. Homestay owners really helped us with genuine insights that helped us easily navigate through the city and negotiate best prices for autos. We highly recommend this place.
