A bit small, but it is a Hostel. GREAT VIEW & location near the castle gate. Not much else, but great views. Ask for a rear room vs front rooms.
Super place very clean & comfortable. Well situated for visiting the old town & easy to park close by.
Room was small and only one chair and desk but it was fine for our 2 night stay. The views were amazing. The bathroom was very clean and water pressure good. Except for the folks in the room next door who came in very late, the rest of the night was peaceful. We slept well. The walk down to plaza mayor was just 8 minutes and 5 minutes up to the castelo. We took bus line 1 from the train station to plaza mayor. Since our packs were light, we decided to walk up to the hostal. It was relatively easy and straightforward.
Very pleasant hostal in superb location at top of town just a few minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor and a wonderful mirador overlooking Cuenca old town. Recommend the latter in the morning light for photography. Very nice, cool bedroom with comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, TV, and a coffee machine. Coffee sachets and cakes/biscuits provided too. Spotlessly clean bathroom with excellent rainhead shower, hairdryer and some toiletries provided. Large free public carpark about 300m further up the hill past the old entrance gateway. Lots of restaurants on the road towards this carpark too. Turn left just past the gateway and you are on the road to the Ciudad Encantada which is worth a visit
Very well situated. Very clean. Very efficient charming owner (Spanish only). Free car park just up the hill.
