This review follows our second visit to this hotel. Located in the El Rastro province and just within the walls of Avila. A short walk (100 mtrs) to the Puerto El Rastro (gate) through the wall to (1) Bus stop for Renfe Railway station (2) the promenade along the south facing side of Avila with incredible views. The hotel is very clean and tidy, room facilities good (take your own kettle for a morning cuppa). There is a restaurant as part of the hotel. A short walk either by the promenade or through the town offers a variety of very reasonably priced continental breakfast €5, lunches from €10 inc wine, dinner (they eat late..) a bit more expensive but if you lunch, excellent Tappas available in the evening. Buses cheap, trains or coaches available for day trips to towns an hour or so away. Nothing really..........
