Located in the Cinque Terre, Affittacamere Rollando is in the center of Vernazza near Piazza Marconi. It offers rooms with free WiFi, a private bathroom and tea/coffee maker. Rooms of the Rollando Affittacamere are in different buildings and are cleaned daily. Each comes with a fridge plus fan, and overlooks the square and characteristic shops. Next to the rooms, there is a souvenir shop owned by the property. Reception is located there. The property is just 164 feet from the sea and from the popular Sentiero Azzurro hiking path along the Cinque Terre. An environmental hiking guide is available for guests in case they want to go trekking and for prices and availability they must ask at the time of booking.

The host was responsive and accommodated an early check in. We were met at the train station and greeted before I even got the message off. The room is on the second floor which requires climbing a flight of steep stairs so it may not be suitable for all. We only had back packs so not an issue. The space is essentially three rooms - a bedroom with a balcony, and a private bathroom separated by a small landing (hallway) holding a table, fridge and coffee maker. The balcony overlooks the main street in town. Great for people watching. It was amazingly quiet despite being on the main street just about 100 meters from the train staion. Bed was comfortable and the water pressure strong. It was a fun little place to stay for the night on our hike through the Cinque Terre.

Location was a mixed blessing. Close to the train station and on the main street. Drawback was the train noise which was greatly reduced if you kept the window closed. Otherwise, it was close to everything, clean, had a mini fridge.
Great location near the train. Cute and comfortable room overlooking the main street. Easy check in and out. Highly recommend.
