The location was perfect on a walking only street between 2 piazza. Just a few steps and you're into the old part of the city. Best of all your room is a modernized cave. What else could you for in Matera? Photos don't capture special this place is. Host was fantastic.
- Excellent location, next to the main plaza and yet very quiet at night because it is not facing to the busy street. Many stores and restaurants are in the neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the train station.
- Spotless clean with full supply of daily necessities.
- I like the clever design of the space and the strategic placement of lightings. I especially enjoyed the shower and a small nook in the shower room. The entire unit looks romantic and mysterious.
- Property manager Nicola is amazing. He is kind and responsive. He has passion for his work and it shows.
Fantastic stay close to the city center. The experience of Matera was greatly enhanced by the amazing suite and host. He took the time to meet us at the parking garage, walk us to our suite, and explain everything about the sites along with directions. We would stay again and again if/when we ever visit Matera again! Highly recommend any couple wanting to experience the culture of Matera to stay here!
