Our whole stay was delightful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and view was unbeatable.
This guest house is in a perfect location in Matera. If you have a car it is very easy to park and tote your luggage to the room. Since Matera is so hilly and a lot is pedestrian only I thought it would be much better to stay just outside of the Sassi (Old Town) for the convenience aspect and I was correct. Our room had a wonderful view of the Sassi, the churches, and the surrounding caves so we truly had the best of both worlds! It was a very short walk into the Old Town. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was super kind and helpful to point out places of interest and offer suggestions. I would highly recommend staying here!
great view, perfect location! Easy access to the Sassi. Plus, instead of no windows and sleeping in a cave we had a balcony with a magnificent view and could see the Cathedral from the bed ☺️
Very nice welcome, very close to Matera old town and the room was spotless clean, 2 complimentary water bottles in the mini fridge. There is a safe at the door. There is a lavenderia very close if you need it. Clear instructions, seamless check-in and checkout. Friendly conversation. The apartment is newly renovated, spacious, spotless, situated in a prime location. The terrace has a fantastic view.
