Appreciate the service and hospitality!
The room was clean and comfortable.
As other travelers have stated, Interhouse Almaty feels like home. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful and generous. I was very comfortable in the dorm, and I love the curtain for privacy. Breakfast is nice. I would have gladly stayed in Almaty for longer and at this hostel.
The place was neat and clean. The caretaker was consistent on cleaning the rooms daily.
Bathrooms are huge, very clean and no foul smell.
Staff were welcoming, very friendly and hospitable, especially the lady caretaker. It doesn’t feel like a hostel, it feels like home. 😊
The hostal is economic, cozy, and comfortable. Elvira and Katia make a wonderful breakfast everyday and in general, the staff is considerate and accommodating. Very much recommend. While it is somewhat removed from downtown, you can get there conveniently with bus 86 (the public transit is great!) and there are a few nice cafes nearby and a pleasant botanical garden.
Excellent staff, especially Kate, she goes an extra mile to help around travellers to make sure they feel like home environment.
