Very convenient, private and hospital grade clean!

Upon a late arrival and airline leaving our luggage in Boston! We were stuck with just our clothes on and hungry! Helio was there waiting for us at the door with such welcome. It’s unusual for a host to have fresh bread, cheese, water, wine, yogurt, fruit, cookies,toothpaste, toothbrushes and even slippers! We were thrilled with those things especially after long travel and no places to eat at the time. Helio was a remarkable host and so welcoming as if we were family!

The apartment was clean ,comfortable and filled with everything a weary traveler could want from a welcome food basket and drinks. The host offered complementary airport transfers . You can also hire him for private tours ( he is an excellent driver and guide) but there is no pressure to do so. We appreciated his expertise so we could just relax and enjoy the beautiful island.

The breakfast was not provided but, everything to prepare a breakfast was provided by Helio. It was beyond our expectations!!!

Helio was the perfect host and went above and beyond to make sure that my trip and accommodations were perfect! He was always willing to provide advice on what to do and see and answer questions that I had. The space was great - very clean and had all the necessities available. Helio also provided local food and drinks at that apartment on arrival, which was so generous and kind! It was great to get a taste of the city - especially the queijo! He also provides tours and will show hidden gems on the island that may not be as accessible to other visitors. He made the apartment feel like home and ensured that I wouldn't have to worry about a thing while on vacation! I am so glad that I booked and I cannot wait to visit Sao Miguel and stay at this apartment again!
