We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The location is perfect – about 30 minutes by car to all the major sights in the area. The apartment itself was excellent: very clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden to relax in. We were allowed to park our car in the courtyard, which was super convenient.
The apartment had everything we needed – even a dehumidifier and a steam iron! Rosa and Joaquim were amazing hosts. They took care of everything and were always ready with helpful tips for day trips and great local restaurants. They even changed the towels several times during our stay and kindly provided extra towels for our visit to the thermal spa.
We would absolutely stay here again – highly recommended!
Rosa and Joaquim are very kind and caring people. You will have everything that you need and more: fully equipped kitchen, hair dryer, iron, etc. Apartments are very clean and cozy - we felt like home. Beautiful garden and comfortable location with parking space.
The owners are lovely people, who are a wealth of information about Sao Miguel. The room we stayed in was very nicely decorated with its own private bathroom. WiFi was very good and the shower was powerful. There were plates, bowls and cutlery to use in the room, as well as a few provisions, such as traditional bread rolls, local butter & a local preserve. There is a lovely little garden where you can sit and enjoy the sun or have something to eat. Private parking is available onsite. Towels are provided for use at the hot springs/beach. There is a large Pingo Doce supermarket a 10 min drive away and a small Spar 5 mins drive away. Would stay again for sure.
