We loved this hotel!!! Perfectly situated in the city with 3 minute walking distance to restaurants, shops, and parks. The hotel staff is extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The breakfast was fantastic (they always remembered I liked my eggs fried) and housekeeping was amazing. Could not recommend more!
This house was wonderful and historically exceptional!
It was in a great location and our room was just perfect. Breakfast prepared by a great and friendly Brazilian Woman was top notch and made our stay extra special. We highly recommend these accommodations and will definitely return!
Absolutely beautiful. The history of the home is well-preserved yet the rooms/bathrooms have modern luxuries. The woman who handles breakfast was incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served on beautiful dishes. I can’t recommend these place enough. It was an experience in and of itself!
This "hotel" feels more like a museum/historic palace. But, incorporating modern design elements and comfort in the most elegant way. Breakfasts both delicious and in a kitchen/dining area that is beautifully designed - hard to stop taking pics. Every day - different beautiful, unique linens and tableware.
While the wifi in our bedroom not amazing, we used that as a reason to use our bedrooms to relax, and savored the gorgeous historic parlor spaces for our laptop/email catch up time before our day's activities. The hostess chef also provided me with a fantastic new restaurant suggestion nearby (which unfortunately I can't remember now!). Wish it were warm enough during our stay to use the pool in the garden - also beautiful.
Solar de Santo Andre is beautiful and historic. The location is fantastic. I have a wheat allergy and was offered special gluten free bread and cookies at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious! I stayed in the blue room and it was very comfortable. I enjoyed exploring the various rooms of the manor too. Eduarda was wonderfully helpful via WhatsApp. She helped me arrange an early check in and booked my taxi to the airport. I managed to lock myself in the washroom right before leaving, and Eduarda responded to my text and sent help within two minutes! Betania checked me in and showed me the house. We communicated via google translate, but it worked really well! Betania is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this!
