This will be the best review I have ever left on Booking.com. We are already planning a return visit to Amberleigh House next year.
The apartment was very well located for the trip we were making and the towns we wanted to visit, since Ely, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Saffron Walden and Lavenham are all within a 30 minute drive.
Lorraine was a delightful hostess and had set the apartment up beautifully - even leaving a small jar of chocolates to supplement the basics she put in the fridge.
The bed, the kitchen, the wifi, the shower were perfect, and the apartment was spotless.
Clean and convenient. Ideal for a weekend stay- essentials were provided for us

The location and facilities were perfect for us visiting Newmarket for a day at the races. The host provided milk, chocolates and breakfast cereal. which was a nice touch and not expected.
The annexe was clean and well equipped. I would definitely 100% recommend.this as a place to stay. The town centre is within walking distance or is a short ride in a taxi/car which is ideal.
The place also has an outside area with a bistro set which was ideal in this sunny weather we are currently experiencing.
Great place to stay would stay again and definitely recommend
