Set in 17 acres of Lancashire parkland the 4-star Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa is a 700-year old country manor. Mercure features an indoor swimming pool and a restaurant. With good access to the M65, Blackburn is a 10-minute drive. Manchester and its’ fantastic shopping and nightlife are 20 miles from the Mercure.

Friendly, helpful staff, place is a little dated however it is 750 yrs old !🤣
Breakfast is a great deal and our evening meal was very tasty and plentiful.
The staff are fantastic. Ever member of staff that I interacted with was lovely, professional and really helpful.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. I felt so welcome in the Hotel . Everyone was friendly and professional. When I checked in the man took my bags to my room, the restaurant staff were super lovely as was the spa staff. It was so lovely to treated so well. A real treat . Thank you
The hotel has a lovely relaxed ambience. The food was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and had breakfast. The staff were both attentive and friendly. One member of staff Chloe, was a credit to the hotel. She couldn't do enough for us and was so friendly and approachable. The way she dealt with some obnoxious customers was excellent and she dealt with these ladies calmly and professionally and was amazing. She shown her true worth Dunkenhalgh Hotel she really did.
