Located less than 328 feet to Eastbourne’s seafront, New Wilmington Hotel is conveniently located opposite the Congress Theater and Conference Center. The hotel is a short 10-minute walk to the town center and the train station that will connect you to Gatwick Airport in 45 minutes and London in 70 minutes. All 42 bedrooms at the New Wilmington are en-suite, with free digital TV and Wi-Fi. The hotel has ground floor rooms and elevator level rooms for limited mobility guests. Secure parking garages and on-street parking are available on request. The Mulberry Bar located on the ground floor is open to all guests to enjoy drinks and snacks throughout the day, as well as a small terrace in the summer. The Mulberry Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The executive chef has used over 40 years’ experience from around the world to create a seasonal British menu with an international fusion of ingredients. The New Wilmington is ideal for those attending any of Eastbourne’s annual events and theater shows, including the international tennis tournament and the ‘Airbourne’ air show. The hotel is also located at the foot of the South Downs and Seven Sisters making it a fantastic base for walking holidays.

Clean and conveniently situated.
Easy parking with parking permit
Well cooked breakfast
Staff were excellent and accommodating, room was clean and newly renovated, great value for the price. Also great location if you’re arriving from the Seven Sisters hike.
The staff here were friendly and greeted us when we walked in and it was great value for money. The beds were comfortable and the carpet looked new. We could make a coffee in the room and it was spacious. It's an older hotel so it's not going to be the same as the View. But then View is three times the price. And I like older buildings. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment. But overall I was very satisfied and came back the day after for another night because my work was extended a day.
There were two double beds in the room, a bonus! There was plenty of room to move around even if my disabled friend had been in a wheelchair. The cooked breakfast was not from a buffet but freshly cooked so the plates were very hot on Saturday when they arrived-less so on Sunday! However, all the food was good. One tiny point-we commented on the first day about the wash handbasin not holding water as the catch to release the plug was broken. Unfortunately,a part had to be bought so it could not be repaired till the day after we left(Sunday!) The staff were most apologetic but it meant I could not keep my water cool! The fan in the bathroom kept going for sometime after the light/shower was switched off but, at least,that kept the bathroom cool! It seemed that many family members worked at the hotel,giving it a nice feel.
