Just loved the whole experience. Wished we were able to spend more time there. Got there around 7pm after a day of sightseeing and traveling. We didn't meet any staff, so at that point it was self checkin, which went fairly smoothly. Enjoyed evening swimming at the pool. And lovely walk around the gardens the next morning. Extended our time there to enjoy the facility. Much more than expected. Family wants to come back to spend more quality time.
Great location halfway between London and Edinburgh very pretty property and huge apartments. Plenty of space two bathrooms two bedrooms plus the sofa bed in the York apartment and even a little kitchen, which we did not use but looked to be well stocked plenty of towels, swimming pool looked lovely, but didn’t have time to use it
We loved the grounds surrounding the apartment they were peaceful and had beautiful views from the garden. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The only small downfall was no slip mat in the bathroom as the shower was inside the bath and my mum is elderly and my husband has mobility issues. The shower was really noisy when it went on. This would not prevent us staying again though.
A lovely property overall. A brilliant base, for a short or long stay. Plenty of links to lots of attractions. We only stayed for one night, but definitely would be happy to stay for a longer visit. Lovely, clean and bright accommodation and very well presented. Lovely pool and hot tub to sink into after a busy day.

Very quiet too and very comfortable.
The large apartment was wonderful! It had a large, light and spacious living room, a cozy bedroom, and a small, but functional, kitchen. The garden view out the windows was lovely. The bathroom had a step over shower/bathtub. The staff was there from 0830-1630 and was very helpful and friendly. Next time we’ll book a longer stay! (The facilities included an indoor pool and jacuzzi as well as another outdoor jacuzzi. We didn’t use these but the looked very nice.)
