This independent and well-appointed AA 4 star hotel is located in the Cathedral Quarter in Norwich and offers chargeable parking to all guests. Location was very good, very near cathedral and walking distance to the many quaint streets. Breakfast was good. The hotel was very nice, much better than we expected. Our room was good.
Room was large and clean as was the bathroom. Lots of choice at breakfast fresh fruit, pastries, fresh bread. If you didn't want the buffet there was an excellent choice freshly made to order poached eggs, porridge etc
Location was ideal as close to town centre and historical sites such as the Cathedral. The room was a nice size and very clean. Also there was a wedding function and we, on the 4th floor ,did not hear anything in the evening. Breakfast was generous and good choices hot and cold. The Maids Head bar was also nice to have an evening drink.
I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything you need. The bar and restaurant were stylish and welcoming, with a great atmosphere. Staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good variety. My room was tastefully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — I slept really well. Highly recommend!
