Wonderful historic building, renovated and updated to today’s standards. Superb location.
Best location in Oban. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. The rooms were extremely comfortable and roomy. Air conditioning was a plus. Breakfast was delicious. There was a small buffet of cold, cuts, fruit, yogurt, and cereal and you order off a menu.
I had to leave on a very early ferry and the staff packed me a breakfast to take with me. Check in was easy and I like the fact they have an elevator as it is difficult for me to carry luggage up stairs.
The Perle Hotel Oban is a lovely hotel located in the centre of Oban within a short walk of the railway station and ferry terminal. We stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and we did make use of the 30 minutes free access to the spa for guests. This wasn't as big as I imagined it was going to be but it did give us time to chill out. The breakfast was very nice as was the restaurant. We ate in the hotel on our second night and staff were very polite and understanding when my husbands steak was not cooked as requested. This was swiftly rectified. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oban and if you are lucky enough to be able to obtain one of the few parking bays they have in the nearby car park it is an added bonus.
