Everything from the staff, to the rooms, to the service and the hotel in general was fantastic. All staff including maintenance were friendly, polite and extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.
The room we had was a perfect view of the lake, it was extremely spacious and very well maintained. All the little extras in the room such as the ironing board, the fan, hairdryer etc were all brilliant.
The location of the hotel was perfect and great transport links into surrounding areas.
We dined in the hotel on our first evening and the food was absolutely delicious, our breakfast each morning was spot on and plenty of choice, it definitely set us up for the day.
We had fantastic weather whilst there so it definitely helped us to enjoy the grounds more,
This was my first trip to the lake district and this hotel made it a fantastic first experience, I will definitely be returning
