The hotel had a nice sized car park at the rear and a Toby Carvery adjacent, plus a “Hungry Horse” chain pub next door. There was also a Frankie and Bennys restaurant just down the road, within walking distance. Hotel room was extremely good value for money. It was clean and functional. There was no hand soap in the dispenser by our bathroom sink upon arrival but the friendly staff member said it was no trouble at all to sort it, which she did whilst we were out. We stayed for two nights, so put the hand towel in the bath for it to be replaced with a fresh one on the second day. It was replaced but both our bath towels were also removed (we’d left them on the rails to dry) and had only been replaced with one. It was too late to ask for another one by the time we returned back and realised, so we had to share one bath towel the following morning.
