Woodlands Manor is a secluded manor house in acres of grounds and gardens 2 miles from Bedford town center and accessible from the M1 motorway. The hotel is home to a lounge bar and Autographs restaurant which uses fresh, local ingredients and has views over the gardens. Woodlands Manor is about 5 miles from Bedford Autodrome driving circuit and 7 miles from Santa Pod raceway. The hotel has the feel of a country house, free Wi-Fi, and comfy rooms with satellite TV and room service.

Room was a good size and comfortable, if somewhat drab.
The bar was open late.
The room was good that looked over garden.
Breakfast was great
Great location, great food, plenty of parking, All staff very helpful, our double room was a little small, had room been bigger and with a chair, and second bedside table, with lamp. would have been perfect.
So, looking at prior reviews I decided to book this on a whim. What I can say is that the surroundings are amazing. Located close to the city centre but far enough away to not be bothered by traffic flowing past. Plenty of parking spaces, beautiful hotel with an interesting history. Our room was fantastic, quiet and a great view of the tranquil gardens from the windows. We are coming back and hopefully sooner rather than later. Staff helpful and pleasant and the breakfast (we were out in the evenings) was perfect with plenty of choice. How this place has 3 stars I'll never know.
Staff were amenable to changes (change to twin room and late checkout), good sized carpark and comfortable beds
