We stayed in the summer and most of Steamboat Springs is geared towards the winter. It was a perfect summer location, but we hardly spent any time there. I could image how it would work in the winter and I think that could be great as well. I liked the location which is far enough from the crazy of town to be very peaceful, but not so far that one needs to think twice about going into town. I like the funky architectural style -- while not current, it's very well maintained and our room was comfortable.

The hotel has everything you need for a fun trip. The loft condo we stayed in was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. The hotel has a nice indoor pool with 2 large hot tubs. The adjacent patio has a nice grassy area and lawn chairs plus grills. My son enjoyed the game room, although they could use a couple new ping pongs.

Shuttle available for taking us to the resort or downtown. Nice views. Dog friendly. Cool hang out areas.

The staff are super friendly. The pool and fitness center are great. We really liked the location because the views are fantastic and it's quiet. The free hotel shuttle is an easy option to get into town or to the ski resort. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for 5 of us. The kitchen is equipped so you can prepare simple meals. They serve a light breakfast in the lobby each morning. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available all day. There are a lot of nice seating areas in the lobby, and the fireplace is especially nice to sit around. We loved our stay and would definitely book again.

Lots of amenities and shuttle to and from Steamboat Base. Liked the nice fire pit in lobby and all day coffee. Having the ski lockers as well as kitchen facilities was great.
