The Quality Inn hotel is directly off Interstate 75 and centrally located in downtown Gaylord, within walking distance of several local restaurants, bars and unique shopping experiences. The Gaylord-Otsego County Airport is only one mile away. This hotel is also close to popular points of interest, including, Boyne Mountain, Call of the Wild Museum, Treetops and Garland golf resorts, Otsego Lake and Otsego Club ski area. Gaylord is well known for its many world-class golf courses and is known as Golf Mecca. Many Golf Mecca courses are within 45 minutes of the hotel. The hotel offers customized golf packages at any of the local mecca courses. There are 400 miles of groomed snowmobile trails surrounding Gaylord that are directly accessible from the hotel. Boyne Highlands and Garland ski areas are within a 45-minute drive. Cross-country ski trails are also offered at all the local ski resorts. The Mackinac Bridge, and Turtle Creek, Odawa and Kewadin casinos are about one hour away. There are a wide variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges located in the area. The on-site restaurant and lounge, Gino's Restaurant, specializes in Italian cuisine and offers daily lunch and dinner specials. All spacious guest rooms and suites include upgraded bedding, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. Some rooms include whirlpool bathtubs. Breakfast was fine-well planned but end of time available so amounts were skimpy.
This place isn’t the newest in town but they are a ten in my book because they’re amazing people and property owners. Whatever negative feedback anyone puts on here or anywhere is superficial. The amount of families and people who are struggling with a home that are here is a sign that these people not only are a godsend to our community but good at heart and caring. I felt cared about and comfortable, and it warmed my soul to see how much they are opening doors to people in their community at a discount rate. During snowmobile season they could have made more and obviously took a significant cut in income to provide stability and comfort to their residents.
Price was reasonable. Employees were friendly and professional.
Spacious room, 2 queen beds. Nice bathroom. The breakfast is OK. This hotel has a lot of potential. It is run down, but the rooms are large and comfy. With some renovation, it can become the best hotel around. It was quite at night too. There is a pool as well. Spacious parking.
Huge room. Large bed. I was quite surprised to see those in this low-ranked hotel. I quite liked it. And the breakfast is good. In addition, the TV remote has a sleep button, which you can't find even in some expensive hotels. The price is right. Parking is free.
