The place is close to train station but a bit far from anything else, the owner is super friendly and gave me a fetch to the place I wanted to go.

BEST HOST EVER! The owner of the hostel is very helpful and considerate. I had some last minute changes and he was very understanding. The hostel is very clean and well designed, amazing location!

We arrived 2,5 hours later than expected around midnight. Although the host left the hostel at 9pm already, he opened the door for us and told us what we needed to know. Thanks for this exceptional flexibility. The location is very good, in the center of Hualien close to the train station. The beds were very comfortable, the room was well cleaned, the common area was a nice place to chill. the next morning we left early to Taroko National Park. We were able to check out early without any problems. We had a great stay and the best sleep in a long time!

Brad runs an excellent hostel.. Cmine card opens front door, dorm door and security locker. Adequate space under bed for backpack... Clothes hanger on wall.. Spotless shower washroom..Good ventilation from window.. Quiet.... Nice size dining, common room area @ reception..small kitchen with Fridge, free tea/ coffee...
