Location is absolute stunning. Inside it's always warm. Owner is really really kind and helpful.
We loved our star here. We hired a car which did make it easier to travel around the area. The apartment was great. The lake was frozen over and we were able to walk on it. The kitchen facilities were great, we managed to cook dinner here with no problems. The bed was comfy and we managed two great nights of sleep on our short stay.
Great location, is immaculate and has the most amazing view of the river! Has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The host popped by to let us know the Northern lights would be out.
Played in the snow on a ready-made sleigh hill. Laavu with hut facing the river 3 minutes walk away.
There is a bus route close by but we used Bolt 50% discount instead.
Good value for money.
What an absolute gem this place is! The owners are so helpful and went out of their way to assist us. They allowed us to leave our luggage with them at 8am and even put it in the apartment for us while we spent the day at Santa’s Village. When we finally arrived back later in the day our apartment was beautifully warm and cozy, with lovely snacks and everything we could need.
Had absolutely everything we needed. Comfortable and spacious compared to a hotel room. Even saw the Northern Lights from the terrace - though because of other buildings they had to be reasonably high. Think you could go down to water’s edge but as we arrived in the dark we were a bit reluctant to investigate in the dark. Would have loved to stay there longer.
