The cabin was beautiful and clean. Fire pit outside really topped it off for us. Toasting marshmallows at our own comfort.
The hill outside the cabin was what the kids loved. Ideal for sledging, first thing in the morning, last thing at night.
We chose this property due to its location out of the city so that it might be quiet which was definitely the case. The property was clean and warm with all the facilities you could need. The host was very helpful with any questions and suggestions about local events and locations. It was beautifully snowy whilst we were there and the property is just a 5-10 minute walk from the river which was frozen. We walked around the forest and river a few times but then were mainly driving. You need a car for this property.
Great location, not far from the city. Less than 1km from a great Reindeer farm, a short walk to the end of the street and you are in the woods and on the banks of the river. Cosy apartment that was always warm.
Marko the host was great, he gave us good advice and took us on a snowmobile safari with our 6 year old son, across the frozen river, up the hill and we had a fire and cooked sausages before we returned. The had sledges at the property and you could go down the hill right out the front of the accommodation.
Atau (Marko's dog) is super friendly and our son loved seeing him.
Car hire was easy and even in the rough conditions driving was manageable.
Marko was a great host and was friendly and accommodating throughout.
The house was warm and cosy, the added option of a sauna and hot tub next to the house was great. the location, just out of the town, made it great for shopping, but also gave the feel out quiet lifestyle of the area. The host Marko was outstanding, giving local ideas to visit and local history of the area and country.
