Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was beautiful, a bit away from the main area of town, so it was nice and quiet with great views. Sufficient number of toilets and plenty of shower stalls with good water pressure. There were lockers you could use, just need to pay a deposit for the key, which is returned at the end of your stay. Wifi worked well. Beds were OK and came with a top sheet and multiple blankets, towel included too.
Comfortable, quiet, clean and very well maintained. Beautiful views from the garden.
The people working there are so lovely. Everything was SO clean! The beds were comfortable enough and the 6 bed rooms were really 3 bed rooms because they only put people on lower bunks. The kitchen was always clean and fully equipped, and even had sharp enough knives to be able to cook a full meal!
Incredible people who run Alpenrose. Extremely welcoming, helpful, and kind. I was very grateful to have chosen to stay here. Felt safe and secure the entire trip. Best hostel you'll find in Chamonix, no factor.
They have all the things u need like a hairdryer, fridge, kitchen, soap, clean shower with hot water. The staff might seem serious but they are nice and considerate and leave u alone. My roommates were nice people too. They also have a ski room.
