Located a 5-minute walk from the Presqu’île and a 10-minute walk from Place des Terreaux and Opéra de Lyon, Okko Hotels Lyon Pont Lafayette offers air-conditioned accommodations with free Wifi throughout. The property is right in front of the Rhône River banks, where guests can find several bars and restaurants. Lyon’s Museum of Fine Arts is 12 minutes away on foot. The hotel is a good concept of having lots of communal space with drinks and snacks and a welcoming aspect. The location on the banks of the Rhone between two bridges (one pedestrian) to Presque Isle was exceptional, and the small splurge for a Rhone view room was worth it (with a French balcony even, on the 5th floor, see photo of the view from the room).
The common area with the happy hour snacks and drinks was really nice and appreciated. Check in was friendly and easy.

The hotel’s design, cleanliness, location, and staff were all exceptional. The breakfast was made of high-quality, healthy food, and we were especially impressed by how thoughtfully the hotel considers every little detail to ensure guests feel comfortable and valued.
