I mainly needed a place to sleep alone, but having a kitchen in the room was a great addition. If you don't have a lot of money spare for the food at restaurants, you have the option of cooking something small, which is really nice to have!
The location is really great - only 8 minutes from the local train station (Wiedikon) to the Zurich HB. You could also walk to the city center by foot, which we did multiple times, and the area is lovely by itself.
