This is a renovated building with freshly remodeled rooms accessible by a modern good-sized elevator. Our room was large, everything was very clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the TV got lots of channels. A small problem with front door code access was quickly resolved via a WhatsApp message to the host. We had no trouble using the elevator to bring our bikes up to our room.
Very nice hotel in a quiet area in Biel. The owner is very nice, the check-in procedure was seamless, and I could check in also at a later hour, at around 9 PM! The room was very clean and equipped with an electric water boiler for tea or coffee.
The location is perfect. It is close enough to the train station that walking is about 7 minutes. We chose the bus and it dropped us off less than a block from the hotel. The room is exactly as described. It was clean and everything worked. We enjoyed the balcony to sit a watch the area. The roll down shutters were nice since they darkened the room and made sleeping-in easier. There is a restaurant below. Breakfast is served there. It looked very nice but we didn't get a chance to stop in. The old area is a block one direction and shopping is about a block in the other direction. The hotel has been under new management and a new owner for a year. He is very friendly and has the enthusiam to keep the hotel as beautiful and better. The elevator was nice and useful especially when we arrived.
Close proximity to downtown amenities. Very nice friendly owner.
