Very good location if you are traveling on Swiss rail. When you walk out of the rail terminal, the hotel is right across the street. Maybe 100 foot walk. My wife and I arrived 3 hours early, but the nice gentleman at the desk, held our bags for us and then had them put in our room after it was ready to be occupied. Good room, all fixtures in good condition. Nice and friendly employees. Good breakfast with a view of the main street and terminal area. City transportation is immediately outside the main door. The hotel has numerous restaurants in the area as well as one in the hotel. We were only there for two days so we did not have a chance to check it out. . The city as a Free visitor card for all of you public transportation so you can even go to Lake Constance for free if you want and still tour the city of St.Gallin.

Location is spot on. Just across the street from the St Gallen train station. Supermarket is around the corner and restaurants are nearby. Walkable to the cathedral and the shops.

Location is great, you can see the SBB station from the window. It's literally across the street. The monastery is also quite close and there are many shops around. It was very clean, bed was really comfortable, breakfast was excellent! Staff was kind and let us leave our bags at the reception while we did some sightseeing.

Literally across the street from the train station, bus/ tram lines but no noise or other issues, only convenience!. Large Very pleasant room with view of clock tower. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice setting. Front desk man was very helpful and helped me make the most of my time there, plus all of his suggestions to my queries worked out very well. Felt safe as female solo traveler. Appreciated the St Gallen transport pass and Aldi type store one block away for wine, snacks, etc. Would stay there again for sure. Had a "chocolate" massage 2 blocks away, took the bus up to the nearby park with lakes and view of Bodensee a quick ride away using the pass, but don't try to walk all the way up there, use the free bus!
