Hidden gem in Anuradhapura. Would love to come back. The architecture of the place and the rooms are excellent.
Huge room, nice views, very nice staff, good food and wine, tranquility
This is a very special place and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. A beautifully designed set of spaces. The house is a reflection of the owner’s family history - definitely take him up on the offer of the tour of the house. The food and service is exceptional.
I had an excellent stay at Arachchi Heritage in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and made me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the delicious home-cooked biryani. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The architecture of the house itself is unique, with a personal touch that reflects the heritage and character of the region. The real magic, however, was dinner on the terrace. With the enchanting lights of Anuradhapura as a backdrop, it was a serene and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to immerse themselves in both the culture and comfort of this historic city.
I can’t recommend this place enough, the place is stunning, the rooms are large and comfortable (the outside shower is so beautiful!!) and the natural swimming pool is perfect after a sightseeing day. The owner and his wife go above and beyond and the hospitality is outstanding, it really feels like a home more than a hotel and there’s only 2 bedrooms so it is really special. Book without a doubt!! Thank you so much for the stay, we absolutely LOVED it!
