the location, near hakone-yumoto station, was probably the best place to stay in the whole hakone area. staff was friendly. bar was cool, food was awesome! room is large and also has a kitchen (but we didn't use it)

The "capsule" hotel style guestroom was better than my expectations. The bed was comfortable and the room was big enough to relax in. I had a great stay -- the staff were friendly, close to a public bath and FamilyMart, the bathrooms were clean. Even though most of the rooms were booked, it was very quiet and the bathrooms were not crowded.

Very very sweet and kind receptionists. The property has everything you need. Showers are on the 2nd floor but enough for people. You can keep your luggage after checkout for an entire day and that was really helpful. Hot morning beverages are available for free. The hostel is very clean and has a very good vibe.

The staff was super friendly and they had an awesome bar at the reception area!

The bed was super comfortable and there were ample pillows. The bed was full size, and there was enough room around the side and bottom to be able to move around the capsule without stepping on the bed. There was also a locking mechanism so you could sort of secure the door to the capsule while you were inside. The staff was super nice and was very helpful in helping me decipher the Hakone Freepass loop, and recommending restaurants. It's also great that the guesthouse serves food, especially since most places in town close so early for dinner. I didn't eat, but also was very thankful to knew I had the option in case I didn't make it back to town in time.
