Friendly staff, thoughtful touches. This is more for the hip, independent traveler, not someone looking for luxury or full service. The beds were VERY firm.
Very artistic place wish we had more time here. Very welcoming and unique stay!
The owner designed this hotel and his wife is potter who made the sink and plates. There is a book about the hotel in the room. I could see their love and professionalism by staying there.
The food from the cafe was delicious too.

Our room was huge with plenty of room for our family or four. They also provide towels and onsen kits that you can bring to any of the nearby public onsens. We also really appreciated the very helpful staff. We arrived a bit late but they were there to help us in.
