The room was gorgeous and in a walkable neighborhood.

This hostel has two buildings. The main building with rooms with a shared bathroom, and the two Kiku rooms with private bathrooms on the 3rd floor above the FabCafe Fuji. We booked the Kiku room (also called the Standard Twin Room on booking) for two nights with breakfast. The room is probably the most spacious room we booked in our entire 1 month trip here in Japan and it’s very reasonably priced. If you book the Kiku room you also get access to the rooftop terrace, which you can get a great view of Mt. Fuji from without the crowds. Great views, spacious room, rooftop terrace, breakfast downstairs, centrally located, not much more you could ask for!

Staff are amazing. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was so fantastic I regretted not getting breakfast again as we were leaving early on the second morning. The bedding are very comfortable too. Bathrooms even the shared ones are sparkly clean. I really liked the toiletries too and decided to purchase some before we left. So all in all, fantastic.

The location of the property is great and we absolutely loved our stay. Our room and the facilities were exceptionally clean, the staff was very friendly and so helpful and we had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again!

This was one of the best places we stayed in our trip. Lived everything about this hostel, even down to the lovely sheets. So much care put into everything. Amazing.
