We had a great time at Midorian. The house is in the forest near a stream. In the evening we saw deers directly in front of the house.

The host was very friendly and we had great conversations.

The location is stunning, nestled in nature beside a forest and stream, just a 5 min drive from Toshogu temples and Nikko’s main street. A car is recommended to explore the nearby national parks and onsens. Masayuki is a thoughtful host who looks after his guests with care. The apartment is on the top floor and it's well equipped with a private kitchen and bathroom. We especially appreciated the delicious strawberries he shared, thank you!! We hope to return and see more of this beautiful region

The owner was supper friendly and helpful. Very peaceful Japanese style inn with a nice little river behind the property. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing stay!

The house is very nice and cosy, everything is very clean. There is a little kitchen to prepare some simple things. We slept on futons, which was very comfortable and a great was to experience a bit the Japanese culture. The house is also perfectly located, it’s a 15-20min walk to the supermarket and famous Nikko temples. Bus stop is about 10 min away.

The host was very friendly and helpful, we also had a great time spending one evening together in the common area :)

Overall, we are very greatful for this experience and such a fun stay in Nikko!
