Clean, we loved the people watching from our balcony. The train can get loud, we got used to it but if you are sound sensitive, it could be a problem sleeping.
The property was 50 steps away from the train station and right across the street from the grocery store and bakery. Extremely convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the upstairs patio was an added bonus. Since you’re so close to the train you hear it, but she has windows that block out most of the noise (the train doesn’t run in the middle of the night). Her place is a gem and I look forward to visiting again soon!
Vernazza is the prettiest of the 5 Cinque Terra coastal villages and Cegi's home was the PERFECT location. Literally steps from the train station and the beach and hiking trails. There is a patio overlooking the busy restaurants and shops where one can enjoy a morning coffee and croissant. Tremendous relaxing bonus. The place was spotless and the quality of the linens and towels was top notch. Good AC too! Francy was super responsive and helpful. For the price it is an absolute bargain!!
The host, Francy, was very pleasant and helpful.
The location was great - easy to access from the train and on the main road through the business section. This is an important distinction from other locations around town as many are on narrow side streets with many steps to reach. While this apartment has stairs to reach the 1st and 2nd levels, they are easily accessible from the street level.
The rooftop patio was beautiful and is what sets this location apart from others.
There was A/C on the main level which was wonderful.
The location is perfect. The apartment is charming. The deck is perfect for people watching and cozying up at the end of the day.
