There was a glitch - not caused by the host, but by you guys, at booking.com :-) - and the host was very proactive in solving it. The flat is pleasant, with a very nice walk-in closet, and a nice bathroom. Very good fixtures.
Beautiful spacious 2 person apartment on a top location in the middle of the historic center
from Volterra. Museums and restaurants, you can walk there easily to all of them. Smooth key procedure.
Loved the historic element of the building, the location
The location of the property in Volterra is superb. Whilst an easy 5 minute stroll to the ample bars and restaurants, the property was in a very quiet location, within the medieval city walls, and within a 1 minute walk of the gate of the town. It made for a great place to relax and had easy access from the multiple car parks situated outside of the city walls. The property itself was furnished to a high standard, had everything you need, and was extremely clean. Both bedrooms had ceiling fans, which, along with the very old, thick walls, ensured a great, cool night's sleep despite temperatures in the 30s while we were there. There is no need at all for air conditioning. Ample window shutters kept the sun at bay, and nets at each window allowed for fresh air without the fear of the dreaded mosquitoes.
